Scott Hunsucker, a Pensacola native, began diving twenty-three years ago as an Explorer Scout while living in St. Louis, MO. Though, diving did not become a true passion until returning to Pensacola several years later.
While working as a Firefighter Paramedic, an opportunity to join to the Search and Rescue team presented itself. While on the team, diving began to take on a more dominant role in his life. Soon the progression through the diving ranks lead Scott to become a NAUI Instructor. During this time his relationship with Dive Pros was established.
Scott's inquisitive, intellectual curiosity then lead him into the realm of Technical Diving, with an emphasis on his favorite form of diving: Cave. He spent seven years as a Gas Diver on the WKPP (Woodville Karst Plain Project), and has the end-of-the-line in many cave systems in Florida.
On his time off, he can usually be found searching deep in the Florida terrain for a new cave system, or working on his sailboat preparing for the day when he'll cast off the dock lines in search for a new adventure.
