Your passport to the underwater world begins with the Open Water Scuba Diver certification. This entry-level class opens the door to scuba diving and Pensacola Divers' students are instilled with the knowledge and skills necessary to be safe, responsible, conscientious divers. All classes are limited to 6 students to ensure a better student to instructor ratio. We feel this is important in creating a fun, informative, and safe scuba environment where focus is on education, conservation, and diver safety. Our two-week scuba classes are also much more relaxed and fun since you will have time to become more comfortable with both the in-water and academic portions of the class. In the Open Water Scuba course, you will acquire and refine all the skills necessary to ensure proper diving techniques, paving the way for future continuing education opportunities, while also learning about the importance and wonderful beauty of the underwater environment. Our teaching facilities at Dive Pros are second-to-none in the Pensacola area. Along with state-of-the-art classrooms (currently being re-built), we are the only training location with a crystal clear 12-foot pool on-site. Because of the depth of our training pool, we can better effectively train you in proper buoyancy techniques, ear and mask equalization, as well as proper ascent and descent techniques. Classes include all books and training materials, certification dives and C-Card, tanks, weights, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, and a well-trained Instructor.
